WHO ARE WE?

OUR MISSION:

The York County Council of Churches affirms the Christian gospel of grace and reconciliation. We therefore respect the diversity among our county's churches and the contribution each makes to our common witness. As the Body of Christ, we seek to demonstrate the gift of unity in the Holy Spirit provided for us by God through Jesus Christ. Together we seek to accomplish what individually we cannot.

MISSION STATEMENT:

United in Christ, strengthening our common faith and witness.

COMMUNICATIONS - by providing valuable information to the churches and the community at-large through an ever expanding range of appropriate technologies.

CONNECTIONS - by providing links between churches, churches and the community or churches and appropiate not-for-profit organizations and/or county agencies.

NETWORKING - by providing opportunities for churches, or churches and not-for-profit organizations/county agencies to engage in dialogue, partnerships or collaborative efforts to address and find sustainable solutions to identified needs.

RESOURCES - by providing a variety of leadership development and training opportunities for the churches in the county.
