Inspiration to Action: Strengthening Connections in the Faith Community

FaithNet is a call to action for the faith community in York County to bring together faith-based and community leaders throughout York County to realize the power of collaboration to address the needs of our York County neighbors. FaithNet 2012 will focus on three critical issues: Geography, Ethnicity and Religion.
Keynote speakers are Rev. Aaron Anderson, Pastor of City Church York and Dr. Deborah Wortham, elder, educator, professor, and a nationally recognized speaker.
Panel Speakers: Rabbi Jeffrey Astrachan, spiritual leader of Temple Beth Israel in York; Ahmad Seifullah, Senior Director of New Africia Islamic Outreach Organizaiton of Harrisburg and Bob Tome, pastor of Ministries at Grace Fellowship in North Codorus Township.
Three break-out sessions will focus on each of FaithNet's three crtitcal issues. These working sessions will give participants the opportunity to share experiences, develop strategies and create an action plan to guide the faith community's response to Geography, Ethnicity and Religion. Each session will be guided by a facilitator: Helen Gyimesi, Strengthening Families Program Manager for Children's Home of York; Bryan Wade, Director of New Hustle Mentoring and Benjamin Murray, Community Development Coordinator for Logos Academy.
FaithNet (buffet lunch included) is $15 per person.
